Dalyan is the paradise of miracles, which is called Caretta Caretta. The sea turtles are the most perfect guest of Iztuzu Beach. Caretta Carettas started to come to Dalyan in April. As of May, they lay their egss to sands. This process is running at the end of July.  

There is interesting detail about Caretta Caretta. They lay their eggs only the beaches, which they are born. It is an incredible instinct, isn’t it?  Normally, Caretta Carettas, who makes eggs every 2-3 years, uses her hind legs to open a hole. Then, they bury the eggs, that is tenis ball size in one of the hole.

ACTIVITY

Carreta Carretta’s ovulation last for hours. In order to this is too difficult for the mother turtles, which tear constantly. After the spawning is over, they naturally the pit that the eggs leave is camouflaging.

Sea turtles come out of the beach, accounting for their babies' eyes opening up to the world in the full moon or near the full moon. If they find something uncomfortable on the beach, they go back without leaving his egg.
